Travel Bound
Approximate Ages 14-15
Travel Bound takes campers to a variety of wilderness areas including rivers, canyons and mountains throughout Northern Colorado and Eastern Utah. Campers will build a sense of accomplishment by achieving a set of goals in a group setting. We introduce young people to the magic of the mountains and rivers, teaching them to respect the environment under safe and controlled conditions. Campers will learn to live and work as a group, while having fun and seeing some of the most spectacular wilderness that the west has to offer.
The 4-week journey explores a variety of settings that ensures an experience that will not soon be forgotten. Campers will backpack in the Flat Tops and Mount Zirkel Wildernesses, raft the Colorado River and explore the canyon and desert landscapes of Utah.
Group for travel bound are intimate, 2 Wilderness Instructors lead a group ranging in size from 5 to 9 campers. Amazing bonds of friendship and trust will be the lasting memory of this program.
